We just finished our spring Escondido Renfaire season. It was amazing. I have learned much from these past two weekends. Much love and appreciation goes out to all of St. Elizabeths Guilde.
Also, not having power to operate the blower to inflate the
air mattress SUCKS as the ground agrees not with my back. The heat got to us a
bit this past weekend. We stayed well hydrated thanks to members of the
Household staff for pushing water on us all the time (Thank you Pee and all other memers for doing a most fabulous job).
I got to arrange the Queens Shopping trip for a day, and it
was most fun (Thank you to the Countess of Kent (now the Lady Essex) for my
inclusion).
To those friends who did come to the faire and waved at me
from afar, or close, thank you sooooo much from the bottom of my heart, seeing
you all there really made doing this fun.
I learned that while being close to the privies for camping
is all good as we don't have to walk far, the slamming of the privy doors is
rather annoying when trying to go to sleep. Also, a substantial investment in
bug repellent would be most prudent as both my legs hosts more scratches and
bumps than many a piece of armor.
I have to heed the call of nature as soon as it hits as it takes about a good few minutes to untie all the divers parts of my garb and therefore cannot wait till the little peepee dance happens.
Overall, I am well pleased that I have joined this group. Please stop by and visit our website at www.godsavethequeen.org
Thanks to all for the support.
